These are made by adding a hand-full of fresh or dried lavender flowers to your favorite white cake batter just before you pour it into cupcake pans. I used lavender from our front yard.
I frost these with buttercream and add a pinch of flowers on top. Before I made this recipe I thought it sounded weird, that it would be too perfumey, but these are refreshing and delightful!
